What types of clasp will be used with my bracelet?
The following are the standard clasps we use in our bracelets. If you would like a different clasp, please contact us for further information and options. Thank you.

	Lobster Clasp All bracelets under 7 inches in length will use the lobster clasp.
	Heart Toggle All single strand bracelets longer than 7 inches will use the heart toggle clasp.
	Double Strand Toggle All 2 and 4 strand bracelets will use the double strand toggle clasp.

What size do I order?
Please take care when measuring and ordering as there will be a $5/strand restringing charge plus return shipping charges of $5 per bracelet if the incorrect size is ordered.

To determine the size of a LADIES bracelet, simply use a measuring tape to measure your wrist where you would wear a watch. Once you have this measurement, add 1”. If you do not have a measuring tape, just use a string and a ruler to obtain your measurement.  Please use the size names below when ordering bracelets:
  X-Small = 7”
  Small = 7 ¼”
  Medium = 7 ½”
  Large = 7 ¾”
  X-Large = 8”

These sizes are only approximations, please consider the person’s body structure when deciding the correct size to order. Measure if at all possible for the most accurate size selection.

To determine the size of a GIRLS bracelet, please see the directions above for LADIES measurement, then add only ¾” for the correct size.  For children’s bracelets, please order EXACT inches you would like. Below are some guidelines for sizing those tiny wrists:
 

Note: If no size is specified during the checkout process, the bracelet will be made 7 1/2 inches long. Necklaces will be made 16 inches long.
 
Will our purchase be gift wrapped?

Yes, all bracelets are sent to you (or the recipient) in a beautiful organza drawstring pouch. These pouches can be also be used to store the jewelry when not being worn. There is no charge for this service.

Do you sell the jewelry care cleaning cloths?

Yes, we do sell professional cleaning cloths for only $4.00 each. We strongly recommend you purchase one with your order to keep your sterling silver jewelry as shiny as possible.

What is your shipping policy?
Basic style bracelets components are usually in stock. Your order will be shipped within 3 business days of receipt of payment and order. If an item is out of stock, we will notify you. This only happens in about 10% of our orders.  Please allow 2-4 weeks for shipping of “name” and other custom bracelets. If a rush order is needed, please contact us. (Additional charges may apply). 

Packages will be sent via U.S. Priority Mail.

Charge for shipping & handling is $5.00 per order.

What are your bracelets made of?
Silver Stories uses only sterling silver beads, alphabet letter beads, charms and clasps. The birthstone crystals used in the Mother’s and Grandmother’s bracelets are genuine Swarovski Crystals from Austria.   The colors of the Swarovski birthstone crystals are listed below:

If you are adding a new strand to your bracelet, the charge is the same as a single strand bracelet plus return shipping charges of $5/bracelet. If you would like a new name added, the charge is $3 per letter plus return shipping charges. (Please do not have more than 16 letters per strand.) If another birthstone crystal is needed, the only charge is the $5 for return shipping (no additional charge for the crystal or restringing).

Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes, we offer a 1-year Workmanship Guarantee. If your jewelry item should need repair within 1 year of purchase, please send it to us with a copy of your purchase receipt and we will repair it for you at no charge.

Do you take Custom Orders?
Yes! Please contact us for your special request. We’d love to design an original piece of jewelry for you or your loved one.

This website only contains a small sample of the items we carry. The options are endless. Many more charms are available as well. What would you like to make your jewelry truly unique? Simply contact us.

How are the charms attached to the bracelets?
The sterling silver charms are attached with split rings made of sterling silver. We recommend that you have the charms soldered on your bracelet by a jeweler, as we do not have the means to do that for you. Soldering will help to prevent loss of your charms.
